Pool Party!

What a day! Or moment. I went on the long journey to buy the dogs a new pool this year. Give up, you just do have to go to Walmart. I went to four other stores before I gave up and went to plasticland. I hate that place. It makes me feel dirty. I hate giving them my money, but I spent more in gas money trying to avoid the place than I did on the pool.

BUT! Look at how happy it made Webster to have a new pool with fresh water.


He had a hard time standing in it. He fell trying to get out of it. But, he was so very happy to have a pool. He's less than a month away from 13 years, something I never thought we'd see together.

Maybe he's been hanging on so he'd get to play in a pool again. He chased Gracie out, teased Pogo (she never did step foot in it) and he warned Janey about her running around the pool. This was a dog who was happy and he showed it! Clap your hands!

Pogo doesn't like pools.

Still. . .Why?

The other day, Webster and Pogo had a BLOG post about why the Border Collie thinks toys are so great. Tonight, Gracie wonders the same damn thing. I mean, some of these toys are things we've had around the house for YEARS. Samoyeds never saw the point. Border Collie obsesses.
